American Heart Association CPR Training

Why should you be trained in CPR?

More than 350,000 people in the United States suffer from out-of-hospital cardiac arrest each year and just 12 percent survive. If more people knew CPR, more lives could be saved. 

Family First Medcare will give you the skills you need to help adults, and children during medical, breathing and cardiac emergencies.  

Our in-person First Aid and CPR Training gives you accessibility to high quality, life saving skills so you or your staff can become CPR Certified.

All courses are taught by a certified American Heart Association Aligned instructor who will guide you every step of the way.

We provide Basic Life Support & Heart Saver CPR/First Aid/AED Training

Basic Life Support CPR: Designed for healthcare professionals.

Heart Saver CPR: Designed for anyone with little to no medical training.


After successfully completing your CPR and First Aid training, passing your competency demonstration and exam at 84%, we will issue you an American Heart Association CPR Card!  In order to help you maintain your certification, we offer abbreviated CPR and First Aid renewal classes not only allow you to stay up to date on the latest techniques, but once complete they allow you to extend your certification by two additional years.


FAQ's

  • How long is the CPR Class?  Answer: For individuals the class time is approximately 3 hours.
  • What if I fail the CPR exam? We will provide remediation, this is a 2nd chance to prove your'e competency in life saving skills. There is no additional cost.
  • How much does the Individual CPR Class Cost? Answer: $100 per person.
  • Do we teach corporations CPR, First Aid and AED? Yes, we give a quote based on the number of participants and leadership team members who will be taking the life saving initial course and renewal course.
  • How long is the CPR Card good for? Your CPR Certification is good for 2 years.
  • Whats the difference between Heart Saver CPR and BLS CPR? Answer: Heart Code BLS CPR Training are designed for healthcare providers, HeartSaver CPR Training are designed for people who do not work in healthcare but require certification for their employment.
  • What do I need to bring with me to the class? Answer: A Drivers License, State ID or Pass Port. We provide refreshments such as coffee, water, pens and paper on site.
  • What should I wear to CPR Training? Answer: Casual clothing is fine. We recommend No skirts or dresses.
  • What payment methods do we accept? Answer: Cash, Credit Card, Debit Card, Money Order.
  • Additional training courses are offered in: Blood Borne Pathogens, First Aid and Infant Only CPR/AED Training.
