Disabled Care Assistance

In Home Support

Persons with disabilities are often healthy, and disability should be distinguished from illness. Persons with developmental disabilities have a wide range of strengths, challenges, and support needs. Our healthcare goal for clients with developmental or intellectual disabilities is to improve their well-being, function, and participation in family and community. 


Collaborating with each of our clients, we help foster a positive, safe and stimulating environment, while also fulfilling the following:

  • Assisting individual clients in reaching their desired goals.
  • Encouraging clients in engaging in fun and fulfilling activities at home and in the community.
  • Providing support to individual clients to meet their daily needs, including (but not limited to) nutrition, hygiene, exercise, communication, socialization.
  • Supervising clients as they self-administer medication.
  • Progress Tracking & Documentation.
  • Following all health and safety protocol 
  • Cleaning up after client.
  • Supporting and upholding client legal rights by outlined in the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
